Michigan City, Indiana

Does anyone know of any haunted place in Michigan City? Me and my Mom are traveling here on vacation in Sept. She is a non-believer and this time I'm bringing some of my equiptment with me to hopefully convince her otherwise. So far the only thing I have found is the lighthouse and a country road both of which is very vague. Thank you in advance. Brandi/TSPS

Hi Brandi, Yes, there are many places in Michigan City that are reported to have paranormal activity. You'll find it's an old city with a very cool history. At one time, it was bigger than Chicago! Check out the Barker Mansion, the Old Lighthouse museum, the Ritz Club bar (just across from the courthouse), the observation tower at the Washington Park Zoo, the Zorn Brewery (abandoned, but you can walk around the outside of it. It's one of my favorite places).

If you have questions, just let me know. I'd be happy to try and guide you! Hope you enjoy your vacation. Be sure and visit the Cafe Treehouse, just east of the city on Rt. 12. It's an ecclectic place that has decent food and TONS of ambiance.

You might want to try next time u come up Elston middle school.  Appearently there is something in the auditorium.  As of the other places that have been talked about I have not heard of any otherwise.  I have visited quite a few of those places but nothing was found or activity wise.  Good luck.
