Looking into...

If I needed to look into a locataion or area in question, to try to find out the history of that single location or spot, or even building, were would I need to goto for the look up?

They live in Will County, in Illnios, I am looking for the history on the location...
As in Before the Park was built there..
I am doing this as a favor....

ok.......... were would I go to look into a histroy that is much more efficent than a libraiy that may hold real info in a single location minus the folklor... something actuly real info.....
