These are being changed over now to expensive condos and homes......but, I've heard that many of them are haunted.  Anyone with insight on this?

Just a bit late on the "being changed over" part,...they were all refurbished some 4 years ago as developers were brought in. My father was stationed at Ft. Ben and we lived for 3 yrs on Sargents Row which, is the ajacent to the Finance Center right on 56th street. They were nicely built duplex homes containing about 3000 sq ft of living space and built in 1908. Each side of the duplexes had a full basement and three stories above. With a fireplace on two floors. It was a old drafty house heated with a boiler system. About 10 yrs ago I was considering purchasing one half of a duplex for $75,000,..the asking price then. I decided against it and today that same real estate goes for $200,000.00...darn my luck.
Anyway,...in the three years of living there, I never heard about any hauntings in our particular housing area however, there were reports of strange happenings on the parade field involving band music and some ghostly happenings at some of the now, private residences and the General Staff headquarters......thats all I got....
