They submitted a great bid and will be hosting the 2009 Banquet in November! Be watching this board for details as they come.

Nope McDowell said at the Director Meeting before the last banquet that new bids would be accepted until March 1, 2009.

It was discussed at our directors meeting on Nov 15th 2008 to allow more time for the winning chapter to plan.

The banquet deadline was stepped up to March at the November directors meeting. This will be reflected in the minutes of the meeting and in the updated members handbook which we hope to have out very soon.

You are right. Previous directors are supposed to pass on all meeting minutes, notes, binders, etc. at the beginning of the year when a new director takes over.

Well shoot. I had a conflict last year with a convention... this year, they changed their date, so I thought I could do both this year, but the banquet's a weekend early this year too. Guess I'll have to decide what to do.

There are talks in our chapter about going to the banquet and staying at a hotel instead of driving back the same night.

A lot of people usually do that. I'm sure the Kokomo chapter will post a list of hotel's in the area and if any of them have offered a group discount.

Ok, let me clarify that.... The Banquet was on Nov 15th last year,....This year it is on the 14th.

NOVEMBER 14 is the BANQUET. I will be posting the Reservations info in the next few days. PLEASE CHECK BACK OFTEN
