Just out of curiosity, the annual banquet is at an apartment complex? Do we have anything set-up with a hotel for the night? The LaPorte members that are planning on coming did not want to have to drive back to LaPorte that night, but would like a hotel sort of close to the banquet location.

I believe we have the place until 7 am. However, if you plan to stay that late/early, plan on helping clean up too...lol

We did get a discount at a hotel for anyone attending the banquet. I'm attempting to find that info now and I'll post it as soon as possible.

There are also, Holiday Inn Express, Super 8, and Courtyard by Marriott within 2.5 -3 miles straight down the road.

Thanks for checking on the hotels. I believe a majority of the LaPorte Chapter will be there if all goes well. Also, for those who are wondering, the LaPorte chapter will be putting together a skit. We are planning on doing....yeah right. You didn't really think I was going to put it out there did you?

Update:

I talked with Hotel Manager about the block and he said he would give me a contract if we had at least 8 rooms booked.
Spread the word please.

The update list is below.

I called the Courtyard Marriott in Kokomo and mentioned I was with IGT, they told me they did not have a block of rooms with a discount for Nov. 14th. So, I asked them how much it would be and the cost is $79.00 for a room with 2 double beds or a king. Or we can stay for $89.00 which includes a breakfast. The breakfast is not an ordinary hotel breakfast, apparently it is a full menu up to $10.00 value. This price is per room, not per person. Originally these rooms are a $119.00 value.
If anyone is interested in this deal, please sign up on this page, then I will get the rooms blocked.
10 sign ups will work, more is even better. After I block the rooms, you will be able to call and book them. More Info later.

yes there is a reason to BUMP it. It may be at the Top of THIS board, but not on the Forum as a whole.

As for the response, you will get one from John Hollis (Kokomo's Treasurer) when your payment has been received.
I know it seems redundant, but that's how the Committee set it up.

Update:

Yes! We have enough to get the rooms! We have 10 rooms being blocked, so if anyone else needs a room please let me know, so I can put you on the list. If there are more rooms needed, I am sure we can get them. Also, make sure I did not miss you on the list, please let me know if I did.

I have a contract being emailed to me for the block of rooms.
Everone on the list has a room reserved and is self pay at time of check in. Tell them you are with Indiana Ghost Trackers.
Hotel is located at 411 Kentucky Dr., Kokomo, In. It is located off of U.S. 31. just south of downtown Kokomo.

Let me just take this chance to say Thank You to each and every person who was able to attend the banquet.

It was an incredible night. I'm glad no one had any big problems.

The Kokomo chapter really pulled it through for the banquet. Awesome decorations, beautiful set-up, great music, and the best meal I've ever had at a banquet.
