Isnt michianas meeting on the 21st or somewhere close to that? I'm pretty sure the garage sale is the 11th and 12th
Violet Mist:
The meeting should be on the 19th of June and our garage sale is the 11 and 12 of June. I hope anyway ! The 19th is the third Sat. of the month. I think it was just a mistake, time is flying for all of us , our group has so much going on right now ! ( which is GREAT ) :wav:
Miami1250:
Your right it is on the 19th of June. Sorry about that. I have Graduation and Graduation party on the brain. My son is graduating and all the in-laws are in town, and preparing for the party and packing his suitcases for a trip immediately after graduation. My brain is fried! Forgive me.
gidget24:
So I have been to Little Egypt Cemetery. I have a friend who lives very near by and she took me and a group of my girlfriends. We went pretty late at night and she gave us a "safety talk" before we left. The actually cemetery is very small and inclosed by barbed fencing. The graves are very old and many of the tombstones are pushed over. We didn't go into the cemetery because I think its "off limits" and I just don't feel right walking on peoples graves. So we drove around the cemetery which has a road that winds around it and there are a lot of odd turns. We parked and our "guide" told us to roll down our windows. We left our cars and went to the fence. Our guide pointed out three trees that are near the cemetery and said that a man hung himself on the middle tree. She doesn't know if there's anything that appears there or not but we didn't see anything. The cemetery was fairly boring as well. I did get an odd vibe but that's just how I feel on these things. One of my friends threw a nickel onto a baby's grave which in the urban legend is supposed to make you hear a baby's cry. We didn't. But we weren't done! We got back into the cars and I forgot about my windows but my friends rolled there's up and there were hand prints on them. The prints were very small, like children's or baby's. That's apparently the most common occurrence here. Then we went down the road. There's a woods on the left side and its been told that a girl was raped and killed there. So we were told to go into the woods a little ways and you'd be able to hear her scream. Well even our guide chickened out on this one. She said, "I never go in there." Then we headed down to "Troll Bridge." Troll Bridge is a small bridge over a little stream but there's is a scary story about his bridge. Apparently if you park on this bridge and get out and very tall black figure gets out and chases you and throws rocks. Well we were told by our guide not to get out of the car. Our guide has been here a few times and actually experienced this dark figure. Her sister has been there more than a dozen times and she says this thing is dangerous. We didn't get out of our cars. We stopped and I got freaked and drove away. So all in all it was an uneventful night but those hand prints are a bit scary.

Cool about the handprints! The Michiana chapter has had that happen one time too on someones car but it was at the troll bridge down the road from the cemetery. Have you ever thought about coming and seeing what IGT is all about? The Michiana chapter does meet the 3rd Saturday of the month. Our next meeting is August 18th at the Elkhart Y from 5 to 7. Don't be late as the door is locked after everyone is in. (The Y is not open during the time of our meeting.) Would love to have you come hunt with us. Dress for the weather, anyone under 18 must have a parent/guardian present, bring a flashlight and please no flip flops! Hope to see you there.
